A highlight of Melbourne’s event calendar, the NGV Gala is a black-tie ball featuring art, fashion, music, fine wine and food. In 2018, the NGV Gala coincides with the opening of the world premiere exhibition, Escher X nendo | Between Two Worlds, on 1 December 2018 at the NGV International.

Guests will have exclusive access to the never-before-seen Escher X nendo | Between Two Worlds exhibition and experience the NGV with visually stunning installations, experiential zones and especially-designed lounges throughout the gallery. The evening will also feature a yet-to-be-announced musical headline act and be attended by international influencers and notable guests.

Tiffany & Co. celebrated the debut of its latest jewellery collection, Tiffany Paper Flowers™at the Collins Street, Melbourne store on Tuesday 28th of August.
I’m posing questions to Dutch fashion designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren that are a little more searching than most. Instead of asking about their hit fragrance, Flowerbomb (one bottle sold every three minutes), or their private relationship (former partners, now platonic—for the record), I’m plundering sociology, anthropology, in fact, any-ology I can muster.
Described by legendary fashion photographer Cecil Beaton as ‘fashion’s Picasso’, and heralded as one of the most innovative and influential fashion designers of the 20th century, Spanish born designer Cristóbal Balenciaga challenged convention with his extraordinary pattern cutting and audacious silhouettes, yet he remains surrounded by a sense of mystery.
